    As an Operations Coordinator, you are responsible for being up-to-date on procedures and assisting the Operations Division where necessary, including Setup, Disclosure, Loan Coordination, or Closing. Training areas could include the following focuses:

    • Closing Specialist

    • Loan Coordinator

    Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

    • Request, receive, organize, and review all necessary items/documentation to complete loan process, including ordering any items required to meet loan approval and/or fraud prevention.

    • Determine the status of a file to obtain all applicable documents in a timely manner for each stage (i.e. - Underwriting, Processing TRID disclosures, HUD approvals for clear to close). Take corrective actions when needed for errors or change of circumstances. This also includes reviewing and analyzing borrower income, assets, credits and other applicable information. Accurately evaluate fees and closing costs for each file.

    • Effectively manage a pipeline count to be determined by leadership to ensure all deadlines are met within required turn times and meet quality standards.

    • Effectively communicate with borrowers, vendors, and internal VU parties that are involved in the transaction, responding promptly to inquiries and requests via phone (preferred) email and/or IM.

    • Attend training to create progression in your role and ensure understanding of company guidelines and loan programs to stay knowledgeable about changing processes and regulations.

    • Perform other duties as assigned, excluding licensed activity.
