ST. LOUIS (June 14, 2018) – A local business owner is making a big investment in the community—providing 35 new jobs and more than $5 million in project costs to the economy. By opening the new Primrose School of St. Charles at Heritage, local Franchise Owner Jamie Ovlia is poised to make an impact on the lives of St. Charles County children for years to come.
The school, which officially opened to students on June 4, will host a grand opening celebration Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The grand opening will feature family-friendly activities, including a scavenger hunt, face painting, a visit from Primrose Friend Percy® the Rooster, a children’s obstacle course, a juggler, a balloon artist and story time with friends from the St. Charles County Library. Families will be able to participate in an activity hosted by the Soccer Shots on the school’s recreational field. The Central County Fire Department will also be at the event with a fire truck to perform safety demonstrations with the children. Refreshments from Fresh Thyme will be served, and raffles will be held during the event for St. Louis Cardinals baseball tickets, a summer prize pack, a membership to the St. Louis Zoo and a family game night basket. The 12,000-square-foot school will also be open for families and children to tour. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. to celebrate the opening of the school.
“We want our school to provide parents with peace of mind, knowing their children are safe and well-cared for every day,” said Jamie Ovlia, Franchise Owner of Primrose School of St. Charles at Heritage. “St. Charles families deserve the high-quality early education and care that Primrose Schools offers, and we are thrilled to be bringing the loving and warm Primrose environment to our community.”
