Students explore the possibilities at Career and Technical Training Expo

    March 13, 2019

Fort Zumwalt School District in partnership with Francis Howell, Wentzville and St. Charles school districts will host the Career and Technical Training Expo from 6 - 7:30 p.m. March 27 at Fort Zumwalt South High School (8050 Mexico Road, St. Peters). Students interested in exploring career and job opportunities after high school will have the chance to learn more about the possibilities. Participating companies and organizations include Boeing, True Manufacturing, MoDot, Plumbers/Pipefitters Local 562, Ranken, the Air Force and many more. A full list is available on the flyer.

“According to the State of the St. Louis Workforce, there are many sectors with more job openings than there are job seekers,” says Dr. Patrick Brown, Fort Zumwalt School District’s Executive Director of STEM and Career Technical Education. “Bringing high school students together with industry and technical educators helps them see the wide range of opportunities that await after graduating high school.”
