• FLOOD WATCH: Sunset Fridays Headed ‘On the Road’

We won’t let flooding wash out Sunset Fridays 2019 … we’re taking the popular concert series “On the Road!”

With 370 Lakeside Park closed due to flooding, our first Sunset Fridays concert in 2019 will be our first-ever Sunset Fridays on the Road event. The concert will take place on May 17 at The Cove at St. Peters aquatic center beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wind down at the end of the week as local favorite Wade Trent performs acoustic rock.

The best part? It’s still FREE!

Start the weekend right. Kick back with live music, and enjoy a delicious meal from the Gator Island Grill. Just bring your lawn chair, blanket or spread out a towel. Food service begins at 6 p.m., and the music starts at 6:30 p.m.

The concert and a seating area for the audience will be just outside The Cove, which will have its splash pad open to the public during the May 17 event. The Cove will open its season the following weekend.

The Sunset Fridays series is presented in partnership with Mid Rivers Newsmagazine and K-WULF 101.7. Visit www.stpetersmo.net/Sunset for more news about Sunset Fridays on the Road!

The Cove at St. Peters is located across the parking lot from Rec-Plex South at 5270 Mexico Rd. Enter from Mexico Road at the Rec-Plex and drive past the Rec-Plex to reach The Cove.

370 Lakeside Park is closed until further notice due to floodwaters overtopping the agricultural levee. For flood watch updates, visit the City of St. Peters website online at www.stpetersmo.net and SPTV government channel.
