DESCRIPTION OF SEMINAR:
This training will explore the roots of the current opioid crisis and discuss the impact it is having on the St. Louis metro region. We will explore the brain chemistry behind addiction, and work to understand holistic approaches to addressing the opioid crisis, including prevention, treatment and harm reduction.
CEUs: 1.5 CEUs will be awarded to Missouri Social Workers, Counselors and
Addiction Counselors at the completion of the lecture. A Certificate of Attendance verifying 1.5 clock hours will be awarded to other disciplines to submit to their licensing board.
