DESCRIPTION OF SEMINAR: This conference will discuss the importance of identifying and assessing treatment needs of special populations in recovery, as well as implementing effective treatment approaches for these unique populations such as women, individuals with mental illness, members of the LGBTQ+ community and more.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: 6.25 CEs for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, psychologists, nursing home administrators, counselors, addiction counselors, EAP counselors, social workers, activity therapists. Other disciplines will receive a certificate of attendance to submit to their licensing board to review for CE credits.
