In mid-2018, the Chamber Board voted to list their offices at 2201 First Capitol Drive. On January 7, 2019, the Chamber closed on the sale of the building and relocated to temporary office space.
During this time, the Chamber building committee reviewed RFPs from five architects and made a recommendation to the full board. The board approved the recommendation and selected a team put together by Chamber member S.J. Hollander Architect, P.C. - the team also includes Bax Engineering Company; SSC Engineering, Inc.; Landscape Technologies; and Jacobi Geotechnical Engineering, Inc.
The Chamber is progressing with their plans and unveiled rederings from the architect of the new Chamber building at their 2018 Year End Celebration.
The Chamber will be closing on the property soon and will be seeking a general contractor via a bidding / RFP process. We hope to break ground in April or May of this year.
We are excited to be able to share the renderings with you and look forward to moving into our new home late-2019 (hopefully). Watch for the opportunity promote your business through naming opportunities.
