Chamber joins US Chamber and others encouraging both Congress and President Trump to end government shutdown
The Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce joins the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and a coalition of Chambers and businesses across the United States in signing a letter encouraging both Congress and the administration to end the longest government shutdown in history. The shutdown is causing significant damage to families, businesses, and the economy.
Chamber members and businesses are also welcome to sign the letter. Please click here to read and sign the letter by TOMORROW, January 23, at 12:00 p.m. ET. We apologize for the quick turnaround. They will continue to accept signatures over the next week, so please feel free to add your name after the deadline.
In addition to collecting signatures for the letter to Congress and the administration, the U.S. Chamber is also collecting stories about how the shutdown is impacting businesses and communities nationwide. Please share any story you have on how the shutdown has impacted your business by emailing Executive Director, Policy, Jeff Marcoe at JMarcoe@uschamber.com.
