Celebrating his new location and having been selected as a Finalist for the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award, Lawn Doctor St. Louis – St. Charles owner Jeremy Turner celebrated with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
Joining Jeremy were employees, Terri Violet, Alderwoman with the City of St. Peters along with staff and ambassadors of the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce.
Lawn Doctor St. Louis – St. Charles is located at 107 North Service Road in St. Peters and provides a variety of treatments to help lawns look their best – from power seeding to pH testing and additional services designed to keep lawns green, healthy and beautiful.
Jeremy and his business were selected as a finalist by a panel of past recipients of the award. Criteria included being a member of the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce, having less than 50 full-time employees and having been open and fully operational no later than January 1, 2016.
As part of their written application, the owner must address the vision and goals of their company for the next two years, talk about how technology has changed the way they do business and if they use any innovative technology to make their business more profitable. The owner must also touch on business management, human capital, intangible considerations and their community involvement.
The recipient of the 2018 Small Business of the Year awards will be announced at a luncheon on Tuesday, May 1st, in conjunction with the City of St. Charles Employers’ of the Year awards – both events held during Small Business Week.
